Lodewyk passed matric with exemption and went on to obtain his Baccalaureus Procurations (B Proc) at the University of Pretoria. Furthermore, he helds a qualification in advanced certificate in construction contractions as well as Adjudication in construction contracts at the University of Pretoria

His personal interests are Mountain biking Dedicated sport shooting Deep-sea fishing, 4×4 trails and Gyrocopters.

Lodewyk has experience as a Commercial Manage and Attorney in areas of Platinum Exploration and Legal advisor, Contract & Agreement Development, creation of legal entities, Debtor management and restructuring, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation & Appeal processes.
